The vision of the Computer Program is to be a global leader in computing, renowned for excellence in education, research and innovation. In pursuit of this vision, we are actively engaged in contemporary teaching-learning strategies and cutting-edge research in fields not limited to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, Blockchain Technologies, Computer Networks, Edge Computing, Data Security and Privacy.
Currently, we offer B.Sc. (Computer Engineering) program, accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Computer Engineering is a program that innately calls for innovation and creativity. We provide our students with an outstanding educational experience that kindles the creativity within them and prepares them to achieve the highest professional goals. Many of our courses are practical-oriented, having a strong laboratory module and also many courses implement project-based learning that enriches our students' learning experience.
The department maintains state-of-the-art computer lab facilities designed for collaborative work and research with access to versatile computing software technologies. We have a dynamic team of eminent professors who are always enthusiastic to disseminate their rich knowledge and expertise for the benefits of the learners and upcoming researchers. The researches carried out by our faculty members are aligned with the national research priorities and are funded by government organizations, private institutions and industries. Our students are actively involved in professional societies like the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and IEEE Women in Engineering (WiE).
