Environment Perception System For Smart Vehicles

  1. Khalid M. Aldahasy
  2. Saad A. Aljehani
  3. Bander S. Alsulami
The project, aimed at neutralizing blind spot hazards, responds to the demand for an advanced system capable of providing clear visuals, accurate object distance, and a bird's-eye view, all in real-time to facilitate quick driver decision-making. The 'Environment Perception System for Smart Vehicles' is an innovative Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS). It incorporates four stereo fisheye cameras and an NVIDIA Jetson Nano processor, a blend that enabled the creation of a multi-functional visual aid. This system processes integrated camera feeds, employing advanced algorithms to eliminate distortion and measure object distances, compiling a unified bird's-eye view. The user-friendly interface, controlled via pushbuttons, allows easy switching between functions designed for parking, lane changes, and distance alerts.

Design of an Experimental Setup to Find/Verify the Optimal Installation Angle for a Fixed PV Array

  1. Abdulrahman Alharbi
  2. Rayyan Alibrahim
  3. Nahar Khayyat
The purpose of this project is to install a PV system at a certain site with multiple elevation angles to obtain the best angle on many parameters. To do that, experiments and tests must be conducted to determine which angles are ideal for a variety of criteria. It will initially be simulated by a piece of software. The simulation results will then be tested by experiments.

Road Condition Monitoring

  1. Omar H. Alahmadi
  2. Mohammed M. Baothman
  3. Ahmed U. Alsaggaf
Customer requirements are centered around the need for a reliable, efficient, and user- friendly system that not only identifies and reports road conditions in real-time but also is robust enough to withstand various environmental conditions. The need for a cost-effective solution that can be easily integrated into existing transportation and communication infrastructures is also a significant customer requirement.

Cost-Effective Monitoring System For Biomedical And Cleanroom Facilities

  1. Omar A. Hussain
  2. Ibrahim M. Ahmed
  3. Abdullah A. Alkaf
There are some critical processes occurring inside semiconductor factories and hospitals that need to be monitored carefully. Here comes the role of the cleanroom, which is a closed and controlled room that has specific conditions and environment. Unfortunately, the available monitoring systems for cleanrooms in the market are very expensive and it is difficult to afford it. After doing a lot of research and meetings we found that the main problem is that the available monitoring systems are mostly expensive and not suitable for all kinds of cleanrooms and from that we chose our higher objectives which are designing an expandable and cost- effective monitoring system for biomedical and cleanroom facilities.

Follow Me Carry-On Cart

  1. Nawaf S. Alharbi
  2. Anmar H. Aljabarti
  3. Saeed K. Alabdullah
This issue will be resolved with our project, the “Automated Follow-Me Cart”. by developing a product that can safely follow behind you while holding and keeping your items safe, giving you minimal need of concern and a load free carrying cart up to 50kg worth of weight.

Real-Time Colorization Of Low-Light CCTV Images Using AI

  1. Ahmad A. Alkhayal
  2. Abdulaziz H. Ibrahim
  3. Ali M. Almousa
This project design proposes a novel approach to overcome the current limitations of CCTV systems in low-light conditions. CCTV cameras have become a common sight around the world, serving a variety of purposes. They are utilized by law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety and conduct criminal investigations, by biologists to observe wildlife, and by hospitals to closely monitor patients. In various scenarios, challenges arise due to the poor- quality images captured by CCTVs in low-light environments that hinder monitoring and identification efforts.

Dynamic Wireless Charging Of Electric Viechles In Motion Using Renewable Energy Source

  1. Khalid M. Aldahasy
  2. Saad A. Aljehani
  3. Bander S. Alsulami
This project aims to design, simulate, and implement a dynamic wireless charging system for Electric Vehicles using renewable energy resources. Moreover, the project has a higher objective such as reducing the limitation of electric charging sources, transportation cost reduction, and facilitating the usage of electric vehicles to decrease pollution.

Continuous Blood Pressure Monitor Using Impedance Plethysmography And Ecg Technique

  1. Mohammed A. Rashed
  2. Feras A. Aldajani
Our project will change the concept of blood pressure measurement and make it easy and fast to use continuous readings with IPG and ECG techniques. By using electrodes to calculate the impedance cardiography and ECG sensor to detect the ECG signal we designed a circuit which will be processed using Arduino.
