Prof. Sheng Chen Biography
Prof. Sheng Chen is a Professor in Intelligent System and Signal Processing with Electronics and Computer Science, Faculty of Physical and Applied Science, University of Southampton, Southampton SO17 1BJ, UK.

He is also a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Chen is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of IET (FIET), and a Fellow of IEEE (FIEEE). He is an ISI highly cited researcher in the engineering category (March 2004).
His research interests are in neural networks and machine learning, wireless communications, adaptive signal processing for communications, intelligent control system design, evolutionary computation methods and optimization.
